We partnered with Miko Café to reimagine their brand as both a café and licensed venue — a space that brings people together over coffee by day and celebrations by night. With the vision to create an identity that could flex across casual dining and refined events, we built a brand system that infused warmth, versatility, and sophistication into every touchpoint — from menus and coffee cups to signage, loyalty cards, and a website that showcases both sides of the experience.

Our inspiration for Miko Café’s identity came from its dual role — a welcoming café for locals during the day and a vibrant evening venue hosting celebrations. The brand needed to feel equally at home with a flat white or a glass of wine in hand.

This balance is expressed through versatile typography, a warm yet elevated colour palette, and a suite of hand-drawn illustrations that nod to both everyday café culture and special occasions.

We developed a full Brand Breakthrough package to give Miko Café clarity, consistency, and presence across every touchpoint. Every asset was designed to reflect that duality — approachable and casual for the café, elevated and polished for the venue.

The final brand system allows Miko Café to be more than just a café. Whether it’s a morning coffee or an evening celebration, the identity flexes seamlessly between both worlds.
